What makes you give up on a book?

Post by nicole-adrianne »

Does anyone else have a specific thing that will make them put down a book and completely stop reading it? For me, it's when all the characters are written with the same voice. I want the characters to be distinct enough that, if the speech tags were taken away, I'd still know who was talking.
