I'm trying to read both a book from OBC and one of my own.

I've just gotten around (finally!) to The Lord of the Rings, and at about half way through Fellowship, I can say it's shaping up to be a fantastic read.

I also just finished Heaven and Earth, and whilst I was a little luke-warm on the book as a whole, it also proved to be an interesting read nonetheless.

I am currently reading Zone One by Colson Whitehead. My Co-worker loaned it to me last month. It is taking me a long time to finish as the writing is unfortunately all over the place.

Reading the sample of "The Different Kinds of Monsters" -- today's book of the day! I really need to get on that free trial of kindle unlimited, but am waiting until I am on vacation so I can stock up on books to read while on a plane!
