Anything by Jive Bunny.
"I planted some birdseed. A bird came up. Now I dont know what to feed it." Ramblings of a retired senile mind.

At this time of year, one of my favourite happy songs is George Harrison's Here Comes the Sun. This version is from the Concert for Bangladesh.

Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows! I listen to it on the first nice day of the year when I can roll my windows down. Always makes me smile!

One of my favorite 'Happy' songs is 'Happily' by One Direction. It just comes to my mind whenever I think about happy songs. The rhythm of this song is really awesome.

OK, on a more serious note, Nightingale by Yanni, Somewhere Only We Know by Keane, and The Sunset Grill by Don Henley.

Oh, wait. Did you mean happy songs, or songs that sing about happiness? Oops.
Happy by Pharrell is exactly what came to my mind. Why wouldn't we agree? It's a very happy song. Also, Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake.

"Hero" by Family of the Year
This song puts me in a good mood always when I'm getting ready to go out or even when it's a groggy day I could listen to it over and over again. Which I do.

As I walk through the valley where I harvest my grain,
I take a look at my wife and realize she's very plain.
But that's just perfect for an Amish like me,
You know, we shun fancy things like electricity...
LOVE IT! I also love The Saga Begins.

Love this thread; I'm always looking for happy songs to brighten my spirits, so I'll be checking back on all your recommendations!

That said: Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz, Liztomania by Phoenix, and Don't Stop Me Now by Queen. :D
