Rob, I am itching to get my hands on your next book!

Margaret significantly shifted focus from your outlook to hers; drawing you to see things from a different perspective.
It was a disturbing realization for me to learn that it is not all about what I learn from my perspective. It is about understanding the other and living in co-existence with all people, the 'gurus' in our lives. It is seeking to learn from the other's point of view than believing what I see and challenge from my stand point is the right thing.

I suppose I must be a lot like you, Rob, seeing what an be fixed, motivating others and challenging their situations without really thinking of what they see. I have learnt the importance of looking through the other's eyes. This would greatly influence the change we seek to bring to this world.

Thank you for taking the time to share these thoughts with us. I love the idea of the unassuming gurus, as I can easily relate. Most of the people I have learned the most from have been quite simple in nature; never flashy. We have to be open to learning from all those we encounter.

I agree. Maybe, for me, it's because the flashy people create some sort of psychological response in me, a mental barrier, that makes me not want to learn anything from them. I'm much more open to learning from people who come across as normal individuals with humility and wisdom.

'How supportive life will be, if we are willing to embrace the support it offers.' This is so true, only at times we are too caught up with ourselves to see the little angels that life brings along. Oh that we could see them, these people who do so much yet ask for so little.

I look forward to reading your book and be able to identify these passing gurus in my everyday playful world. What a playful me! Thanks for your inspiration. I will try to learn something good from every word that passes my ear now. *laughing*. I have got a twin in you in that I enjoy my own company more and people enjoy my company and joining online book club recently has increased that personal company time.
