No. Not convinced the movie did justice to the book.

I have seen the movie, but I haven't read the book - embarassing, I know. It is definitely on my to-read list!
Which one do you guys prefer? The movie or the book?

It was ok, looked like a take-off of the X-Men. :)

I've not read the books yet so I can't exactly tell you how bothered you're going to be by the peculiarity change. But judging based on the movie alone, it was really good and you should see it.

I'm reading the second book, and decided to watch the movie. Worst choice. Not a fan of the movie at all the book is wag better. The movie kind of seems thrown together.

The books are amazing, thoroughly enjoyed reading them. I did find that the movie was more on the kiddy side and although it was good, I think I'd rather read it again than see it.

Wow! I've never heard of it until now, wherefore, "no opinion".
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. (Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) :reading-7:

I saw the movie before I read the book, and I was very confused when I read the book and Emma was different. I haave to say, I like how the movie ended.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I have not read the books. But, I watched the movie though and I quite enjoyed it. It stuck well in my mind in a good way. I enjoy many of Tim Burton's films anyways. So a yes from me!
