She was very determined, that's for sure!
It was exciting to learn her det..
And this skill aided all of her friends when they were in distress from Buckhorn employees.

Sarah's 'strong heart' was on full display through out the story, be it the actual events or her vision.
I believe that the other characters also showed similar quantities for different causes. William, persevered to finish the hike both the times, in-spite of his failing health.Sergei went on the hike to test the theory of his origin story in the wake of his father's death. Tom and Myra wanted to save the park by getting that spear thrower by any means.

I love how in depth you answered this question.

Every time she faces adversity, her 'strong heart' emerges. I think that's a cool motif.

The title Strong Heart is very appropriate to the story of the characters. All of them were actually tested. Their ability to trust and love and their courage to deal with all of the circumstances they underwent showed how strong each of them were.

Sarah's name results when she does the paddling when the rest were tired. It is surprising that although she was the youngest, she managed to row the boat like the rest. The strength is also seen through the step she took to go on the camping despite the fact that she was not prepared for it.

I think throughout the book it is present. A small girl lost her parents then send to persons she never knew exists and then went on a trip she never wanted to go and then going to a totally new world. I think in the whole story she showcased her strong will and heart.

I think she proved it in so many ways. Sarah had been through trauma, loss and changes. She persevered through these and showed she could overcome many challenges. She was strong and willing to learn and grow through her experiences.

She showed a strong heart during the 8 days " lost" in the forest, by not giving up when her alleged capturers took her and she still found her way back to Tom and William.

When Sarah defended the group from the animals and helped with the rescue mission. I liked when she darted the two guys as well. These moments show her standing up and fighting despite her circumstances.
