I just checked out Bookbub. I am in Love!!! I most definitely recommend this site to all Kindle owners. I chose a few free books and the site directed me right to my amazon account. COOL!!

I like the fact that BookBub sends an email daily with a list of books. I also have found a few pages on Facebook that offer free books. I have really just started looking around for different places.

Have you tried Kobo? They have loads of free books and I'm pretty sure you all will find some interesting to read.

There are a lot of websites giving free books for kindle. One would be amazon . You can do a search on their website 0.00 under the kindle department. If you like the classics you can get the for free on project gutenberg. Some might not come in a format your kindle will support so you might have to go online and convert the books into whichever format your kindle accepts. The one I use is ebook.online-convert and you don't have to download anything onto your PC.

If you enjoy science fiction/fantasy, you might like the baen free library. https://www.baenebooks.com/c-1-free-library.aspx
You can also buy baen books directly from them and they are committed to DRM free e-books, which I love. Their prices are very reasonable. (I am not affiliated with them in any way. I've just been enjoying watching the evolution of baen free books for several years.)

Is Bookbub legal? It sounds too good to be true LOL.

Overdrive! You can get books that you actually want to read, rather than just what is available - the problem that I usually run into with most free sites.

I have this too and I like it!

I like KindleBuffet (also have an android app), which sends you over to amazon and the free ebooks area in your chosen interest area when you are ready for new books. :)

Amazon is good especially if you like to read classics. I recently downloaded 15 free classics such as "Moby Dick" to my Kindle Paperwhite.
Some other resources I have come across for free e-books are:
Manybooks.net
OpenLibrary.com
Project Gutenburg
etc.

I would check out your state library's website to see if they have an e-book program. Sometimes you have to put holds on titles you want, but to me it has been the best resource yet for free e-books! :) Your local library may also have a program.

I recommend Amazon, openculture.com, Project Gutenburg and signing up for Bookbub emails. Good luck and happy reading!

I use my local library's website to borrow old and new e-books. Even when a book I want isn't available, I'm able to place a hold on it and they notify me via e-mail when it's available. Also, I have Amazon Prime, which offers a Kindle Owners' Lending Library where you can find new titles as well as the classics.

I agree Amazon is great on free books. Wondering if the Amazon unlimited has discounts on new releases .

You can get books from a website called Epubbud or another called Tuebl. I use these websites all the time and I love them!
