My favorite song at the moment is Miley Cyrus' new song Wrecking Ball. It's so good, but the video could be better. :)

Right now I have two, Matt Anderson's version of 'Wagon Wheel' and Audra May's version of 'Forever Young' . I'm not a fan of remakes, but with these two I prefer them.

I've heard that...best bud's partner gets together with his brothers every St Paddys day...actually through the year and play Irish folk tunes into the wee hours...it's beautiful

That is a nice song. Knowing the story behind it, its quite moving.

I heard a couple today I liked. One was Ka-lu-a. Its got kind of a Hawiaan feel to it, makes you think of palm trees and ocean breezes. I think it was written by Jerome Kern, but not sure.

The other was a cute novelty song, I Like Me by Billy Murray.

Somebody I was watching on YouTube...I'm showing my dinosaur status, does anyone remember The Sensational Alex Harvey Band? I read a really in depth book about his life. Had a few albums back in the day. They say the sad thing was that his stage act didn't really transfer to vinyl...had he hung on like five more years for music videos to be ushered in...his brother Les was in Stone the Crows with Maggie Bell

My favorite song at the moment is McFly's "Shine a Light". The up beat melody negates the disheartening lyrics.
