A park?
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

New Riddle:

1) I am a person
2) I was named after a character in William Shakespeare's King Lear
3) A square in Boston (also my Birthplace) is named after me
4) Though my name means prosperity, fortune, and happiness I have been a tormented artist
5) My best-known work is a 15 line poem written in honour of my childhood friend's mother
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

I think you got it.

I first thought of Byron's, She Walks In Beauty but it doesn't fit the other clues.

New Riddle

I let you travel with ease.
I make one from two.
While the first part of me lets people and things rest and go,
My second part covers you.
