Do you read the last page first?

Oh no! In fact it's my pet peeve. I wish I never even see a word from the last page of the book. It's this placebo effect kind of thing where I feel the fun will get spoilt if I read the last page first.

The climax of the story doesn't really happen on the last page so it's not really that big of a deal for me. However, I did read the last page of Mockingjay after my sister gave me a fake spoiler and that ruined it a little bit for me.

I used to check the ending before I started a book to make sure it had a 'happy ending' and not something disappointing. I hate it when a book leaves me feeling worse off than I did before. Nowadays, I read a few reviews and I'll pick it up if it seems interesting enough.

I do that! It’s a weird habit I picked up. Not they whole page but before I select a book, I ‘ll read ahead to get a taste of the flow.

NEVER, goodness I hate spoilers. When there is a lead up to events I don't even let my eyes wander down the page for a peek of the outcome.

I always read the last page before I read the actual book, it helps me to read between the lines and spot clues I wouldn't normally see, do you guys do it too? Or am I just weird?

No. I don't. I feel doing that will make me lose the thrill of suspense.
