Great review!

Life altering diseases are devastating and completely a huge burden on family and friends. It's wonderful that there is such educational literature out there, to teach the masses about the plight that so many people face. Thanks for the fantastic, eye opening review.

Itโ€™s amazing that the author could write so candidly about her experience and recovery process. I commend her for this. Great job on the review!

This book seems like it gives great information about what a stroke is what it's like after experiencing one. I like how this was easy to read and understand, as these medical issues can become very complex.
Thanks for the review!

Yes, it's appreciative authors who have the courage to share their experiences in order to help others; and Veronica Woods is just one of them. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, JoyALB!

I agree. I was afraid that I would get lost in these medical terms, but the author explains them in a common language. Thanks for stopping by, fadjei!

This book sounds so emotional...
I do feel for the author and the pain went through.

This looks like a nice self-help memoir, suitable for everyone. I haven't experienced any stroke, neither am I in the mood to read emotional stories. Thank you for the review.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

I watched a TED talk once from a woman who had gone through a stroke. She described it so vividly but I still can't imagine what it must be like. This sounds like an important book, thanks for the great review!

I don't have any experience in associating with victims of strokes, yet the review touches my heart deeply. I really appreciate the theme of the book. Thanks for the great review! :techie-reference:
