Thank you, Agnes. :tiphat:

The book also piqued my interest. Sounds like a must-read. I particularly appreciate such a thorny issue being tackled with eloquence, wit, and humor.
Thank you!
Thanks for your kind comment, Ruba. I hope you enjoy the book if you have a chance to read it.

I loved the description of what it means to be an American. It often happens that people who have experienced other cultures recognize America's unique culture. Television and movies have definitely influenced the concepts other cultures have of America. I enjoyed your review.

Your description of the book makes me smile. Being married to someone that is not an American, I can assume some of the things that the author assumed about "the American Dream." Right now we live abroad, but my husband wants to move to the U.S. I'm interested to read this book to see what the author thought. Thanks for your review.

This book sounds awesome. The author's take on what really qaulifies you as a American is great, and I could share his point of view on this. Definitely something I would read. Thanks for your great review.

Wow! What an awesome review: it makes me feel very eager to dig in and persue Master's multi-cultural experience(s) in America. I liked the part where being an American was only a matter of a "state of mind". Beautiful.
