I have just started The Berlin Novels by Christopher Isherwood. It comprises, two works, Mr Norris Changes Trains and Goodbye To Berlin (the inspiration for the stage and screen musical Cabaret). It deals with life in Berlin in the 1930s, during the period of the rise of Hitler and the Nazis.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

I'm reading Dark Age by Pierce Brown. It's the fifth book in the Red Rising Saga and I find it absolutely brilliant! It's science fiction. His words really paint a picture and I can clearly visualise every character in my head through his discriptions.

Hey everyone! As of right now, I'm reading Immortal City by Scott Speer. I believe it was about $5 at my local used bookstore and I am loving the book right now. I highly recommend it!

I had just started Sea of Monsters by Rick Riodan and Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I really love the Percy Jackson series. The author writes so much of what a teenager would feel in these kinds of situations like having a quest almost every summer and dealing with school as well as a girlfriend. Carry On is very promising I love how the characters were introduced.

I read that very recently, and I agree with your recommendation. Although I find him a little repetitious, I think his message is so valuable, and appeals to such a huge number of people. I prefer Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj's book I Am That. I wonder if you've come across it...

I am currently re-reading The Childhood of Jesus by J.M Coetzee. It is very difficult to define...

This morning I started on 'Heartstone' by CJ Sansom, it's the fifth in his series of Historical Thrillers featuring Matthew Shardlake and I highly recommend them.

Today I started The Stone Child by Dan Poblocki, something from the teen horror genre, which might just be a bit young for my tastes. Let's see how it goes.

I am reading 'The Turn of the Key' by Ruth Ware. So far, 20% into the ebook. Really liking the format and the writing of the author. Not totally into the story, as we are just starting out in terms of plot but hopefully that will get better.
