Ugh...I hate it so much when a book has all it takes to provide an excellent reading experience, and the author spoils it all by introducing cheap, over-used stereotypes like the "biker chick" you just described. Sometimes it honestly makes me just want to close the book and finish the read. Other than that, great review! I would very much enjoy a mystery-type of novel right now.

The title does not give away anything about the story. I'm glad the book has all the good stuff. Mystery, suspense, medical thrills, espionage, and romance. Just imagining an ex agent in Tim's predicament is enough to give me goosebumps. Adding it to my reading list already.

Amnesia always spices things up. It's a great addition to a plot when authors actively play with it in their books. I wonder what could have happened that caused the amnesia and the events that lead to the accident. Knowing our hero is a CIA agent, I can think of a few things now. I added it to my to-read list!

Good review. After reading the sample on Amazon, I hoped that Mary Ann’s character would improve and become more relatable as the novel progressed, but I see you mentioned that hers is the one character who remains rather shallow and unrealistic. I have to disagree about the book being professionally edited though. In the first two or three pages I already saw two typing errors. This is not my favourite genre so I think I’ll give this one a miss.

I started reading the sample and ended up reading it to the finish because I was so mesmerized by the story. The review is comprehensive but i don't agree with the comments about Mary-Ann as I have met a woman almost identical to her. The amnesia issue is also strongly relatable for me as I also had an accident and was unconscious in hospital for a month. Apart from the similarities to my own life, this sounds like a gripping thriller and I just have to read it. Thanks for the comprehensive and interesting review.
