This definitely seems like it should have been categorized as a romance novel. I do love that the author is writing a romance novel about mature adults, though.

I'm definitely confused as to why this is listed as young adult. With the graphic content, it isn't suitable. It's got a nice premise, but it's not what I'm interested in. Thanks, though.

Yes--it's very confusing as there is nothing YA about it. Thank you!

I find it difficult to believe that most fathers and daughters have the kind of relationship that they can talk to each other that way. That said, the rest of the book sounds intriguing and I believe it is something I would enjoy. Great review, as always!

Who doesn't love a good romance? I am eager to read this book based on the review. I love really emotional and good romances. It sounds like a good read.

I agree - this doesn't sound like young adult fiction. And I'm with you on the banter. I would find it off-putting too.

While I don't think this book is for me personally, the idea of an older couple finding love again is sweet. Too bad about the crude dialogue. Great review!

This is a good book for giving lessons about love. It's sad that Joanne's husband used to mistreat her on top of being unfaithful to her. Thanks for the enjoyable review.

Really enjoyed reading your review, thanks! I also think that it is odd that this is in a Young Adult genre...maybe the author wanted to have a novel that brought up consent and second chances at love and was able to deliver it to younger audiences? Still begs the question why both characters are older then.
