I understand that. I find it nice to read a really simple book occasionally, anyway. It's a nice change of pace. Thanks!

It's quite difficult to come across books with a full rating and your review has convinced me to check this book out. Great job!

I'm glad the book manages to send such an important message in a way kids can relate to and enjoy. It's easy for children to develop self-esteem issues due to feeling rejected by their peers, so this is a great conversation starter. Thanks for the review!

I love the theme of this book--that it is okay to be different. That is such an important concept for children to understand (as well as a lot of adults). Thank you for a great review, as always!

Some authors seem to skip the editing process, but this one is well done. Thanks for your comment.

There's rare a child that isn't subject to some form of criticism by their peers. That's why it's important to know how to deal with it. This book helps children realize they are all special. It's a great message. Thanks!

So true! I think many adults could benefit from realizing were all different and that's what makes us all beautiful. Thanks!

I'm happy that Eve had such a good relationship with her mom that she felt comfortable bringing up her questions. This sounds like a very timely book and one that will be great for parents to read aloud to their children. Thank you for the recommendation!

Like you, I love that the little girl opens up to her mother. This sounds like a book that would be great in the home and in the classroom. Thanks for the review!

I'm glad she did as well. I hope that it encourages other children to approach someone who can help. Thanks for your thoughts.

Most of the children buildup complex about their physical appearance at a very small age. It a great message covered in the book. I hope the book reaches the correct address. Amazing review!

As a mother whose 7 year old just came home asking if she could dye her hair "golden" the other day, I totally appreciate the message of this book. It's hard for kids when they feel like they don't fit in, and anything that can help them see their own value is wonderful. Great review!
