It's wonderful to read about a girl who stands up for what she believes in and moves on with her life in spite of the taunts she receives at school. Nice review.

I found this book to be intriguing. I think all of us can relate to feeling like we don't belong, and that sometimes we are intimidated into doing things that we do not want to. But sometimes fear is a good thing, and pushing through it gives us strength and powers we never realized we had. Great read.

I don't know why you said some parts of the book might seem "silly" or "lame," because I feel this book is not at all one of those two to the right readers. Instead, the plot sounds absolutely magical, not only because of a new fantasy world, because of the magic Karina feels in her own life and spreads for others. Thanks for the detailed review, I find myself strangely drawn to the book.

Karina by E.B. Mann is an award-winning #Supernatural tale about a teen girl taunted and bullied in her school because of the horrible scar on her forehead. With the help of a strange old man named Algernon and the talking rainbow fish, Karina is able to remember things like her birth, some of her past lives, and the details of how she got her scar.

I find the plot interesting. Thanks for the review.

The author seems to have done a good job of describing Karina's daily routine and her isolation because of her scar. I'm sure teenagers would find Karina and her coming-of-age story extremely relatable. Thanks for a wonderful review!

I felt this was a thorough review that gave quite a bit of information about what was in the book without giving away too many key plot twist and turns where you would feel why read the book! It sounds like an engaging read especially for teens.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I love the plot of this story and it’s always interesting when a teenager has to learn to deal with supernatural abilities on top of dealing with just being a teenager. I am definitely adding this book to my reading list.

I'm wondering how the author was able to pull it off. This is such a unique concept and a talking fish does sound silly. I would have to check out the sample. Thank you for the insightful review.

This book sounds like it is a good supernatural story but I wish the review didn't give so much away about her powers. I will have to wait on the story it feels, after what the review gave away. But it does sound like a good book.

I like that thought from the book. I think the book is amazing, wonderful, exciting, happy and sad all at the same time. It makes me want to find my own cave. Thank you for your review.
