Moving on from one Stella Prize winner to another, I have now started Mateship With Birds by Carrie Tiffany.

I'm busy reading Skin Game , the most recent book in The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I'm enjoying it, although throughout the series, some overused phrases do start getting a bit tedious. But I think that is somewhat to be expected when it's such a long-running series and you read the books in quick succession. You start picking up patterns that you probably wouldn't notice if there were long periods between each book.

But all in all, I obviously love the series or I wouldn't have read all of it.

Just watched the movie The Darkest Minds and immediately ordered all 4 books in the series. It's a young adult series similar to the Hunger Games or the Divergent series. I'm excited to read them, but we'll see how the books compare to the first movie...

Just finished "A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles, and am currently reading "Sapians" by Yuval Noah Hurari. Both extremely interesting and well written books in their own right, and both have widened my reading interests

I am reading a book for review right now called Crystal Night by Marc Seifer. It’s book number 2 of a 4 part series. I have not read any of the other books in the series but after how much I’ve enjoyed this book, they will definitely be on my reading list! This book bounces back and forth from modern times to pre-WWII and the event leading up to the holocaust. WWII is a passion of mine, I read all types of literature on the subject and this book really has captured my interest. Would recommend!

I have just started We are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler, which was recommended to me in this Forum by @Fran quite some time ago. From the little I have read so far, I think I'm going to love this one. (@Fran, I miss your contributions  )

I had a hard time getting through that book as well.
