I want to ask if Sky could be in the running for someone's fav character?

I can not say I was generally a fan of the characters in this book. I found them more frustrating and agitating than enjoyable. That being said, I think I'm going to have to vote on Glenn, Cynthia's brother, as my favorite character. Although he is obviously not a 'main' character in the story, he definitely lifted some scenes in the story into a light-hearted playful atmosphere. He appears as a good-natured and loving support for Cynthia.

Despite constantly facing unusual situations, a forgotten pregnancy, and running the war on cyber-terrorism, I still liked Cynthia as my favorite character and enjoyed what she contributed to the plot.

Tim and Garth were also fun characters to read about.

I totally agree with you! I didn't really love any of the characters in this book. Cynthia was just, meh. She had her good points, but I I feel like her behaviors that we see in the book would be totally out of character for someone who is head of security for the senator. Also, Sky was the worst character. His behavior was super creepy at the beginning. While some of his character development was integral to the plot, I just can't get past it to the, BOOM, now we have a happy ending! Tim and Garth were probably my favorites though. I really liked their enthusiasm.

My first thought about Dan as a favorite character? I thought he was like a piece of paper, flat, laying there just waiting to be noticed.
Then I found out he was really one of the bad guys!

Not for me. He seemed to have too much information on Cynthia from the start, as though he was the stalker. Because of that, he seemed creepy and weird. His character didn't get much better when he produced all the information on day-after pills and then went to confession about his 'one' sin. Even toward the end when we find out he could be one of the good guys, it did not give me that 'aha' moment when you understand what his actions and motives meant all along.

Strange how his big reveal turned him from dorrmat to slightly interesting.

Unforunately, I do not think the characters had enough time in the book to be developed enough for me to like them, but Glenn comes the closest. He played the loving brother/dedicated boss very well.

I loved Glenn too with his realistic banter with Cynthia, egging her to laughter and indignation, and his take on a responsible boss was welcoming.

I would have to choose the nerd squad as my favorite. They at least stayed focused on what they had to do, and their characters fit their role!
