Thanks for yet another articulate, wonderful review, sarahmarlowe! :D
I agree with you about dialogue. If it's stilted or too lengthy, I want to scream! Thank you for taking the time to comment!

I like this genre. But, I'm not sure whether I should read this book or not. It looks as if it has certain drawbacks in it. Too many minor characters and several characters having the same name can be confusing. Maybe I'll skip this book. But, thanks for your thorough review.

So do I! I haven't realised it until I read a book with particularly clunky dialogue for the first time. I guess I was spoiled. :D It does make one appreciate the craft of writing even more when it's done well though.

It's a pity about the errors and your comments referring to the issues with extra characters. The last thing a reader wants is to deal with unnecessary confusion that could have been easily avoided. Thank you for your honest review. I probably won't look into this book, although the quirky humor seems fun.

Thank you for stopping by! I agree with you about the unnecessary confusion. Readers don't dive into a book looking for that.

Bob Herpe seems to have written an interesting crime and mystery story with a cop as a protagonist. Thank you for your review capturing the storyline and also pointing out that it needs editing. I would like to read the story sometime.

Congratulations Bob on the book of the day!

It is a bit saddening that such a marvelous book could be filled with numerous errors; I hope the author will consider having it undergo another round of editing, as the plot sounds enthralling and the characters brilliant. It seems Ernie found more than he was looking for, and I hope he will emerge triumphant, especially as he goes after the skilled assassin.

Thi sounds like a good story however, could do with a little bit more editing. I will pass on this one for now. Thanks for the review!

Gravnick by Bob Herpe falls into the crime and mystery category. I believe the errors both grammatical and plot have taken away the fun of reading the book
Nice review
