Adding % to Goal Completion

Post by Lindsey Klaus »

Hello there! I have a suggestion. I noticed underneath our usernames, there's a Reading Goal and our Reading Goal Completion. The Reading Goal lists the number of books, but the Goal Completion lists the percentage of completion without adding a percentage sign. I think this is confusing, and I think that because I felt super confused when I saw it underneath my username and wasn't sure how to correct it. I certainly have NOT read 50 books so far this year! :lol2: Of course, I was able to figure out what happened, but other posters/lurkers coming to the forums to read reviews or discussions might not realize it's a percentage (or if they're new, or they don't utilize Bookshelves, etc).

It might be less confusing to either add a percentage sign or to switch it from a percentage to a book count?

As another example- Before I figured out how to correct the timestamps on my Bookshelves (or that Bookshelves was the reason), my completion was set to "125%", but on the forums displayed under my name, it only showed "125". I had a family member click on the Facebook link to my review and, rather than commenting on my review, the first thing he did was ask me if I really read 125 books in 5 months. He was not the only one. :lol2: :lol2:
