I enjoyed this book overall. I definitely agree that it's different than what I expected.

I'm reading Winter CIty Wolf Moon by Elvis English, a crime thriller loosely based on crimes against native Americans in Alaska during the 1990s.

Hi! I'm new here. I'm looking forward to reading the books you guys recommend and discussing it with everyone. :techie-studyingbrown:

I just finished reading The Husband by Dean Koontz. I'm now reading A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity by Bill O'Reilly and it's hilarious. It's a good book to read after work, in my opinion. :D

The Sword Swallower and the Chico Kid by Gary Robinson

So far, it's awesome! The prologue reminds me of the set up for The Princess Bride.

Currently I am reading the book Peak by Roland Smith, it's a great book if you like adventure. I suggest this book to anyone of any age, it catches your attention just by reading the first chapter!

I am currently reading Happy Healing by Dominique Bourlet. I am only about a third in, but I am appreciating some of the unique insights the author has shared so far.

I am currently reading Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh. It's a YA fantasy novel, so it certainly contains some of the cliches of the genre. However, I'm finding it overall enjoyable. It seems to mainly revolve around necromancy, which is not a magical aspect that I have found to be done to death (no pun intended) within YA fantasy yet. It also includes commentary about tradition versus change, which I'm finding intriguing. I don't mind stories that are written just for the fun of it, but I do enjoy a good philosophical perspective in the literature I read.

Interesting concept you have here. I'm currently reading Scythe by Neal Shusterman, also just for fun. I don't typically read two books at the same time, but I enjoy how you read one book for fun and one to learn from; I might try it myself :D
