So, I started working at my old school and we're in the middle of purchasing a new home, so my time has been limited. I (obviously) dropped the ball on White Stag. I'm not sure I'll be available for a new one quite yet. You two can decide/start without me, and if I can join, I'll jump in. Sorry for not being able to participate in White Stag...

It is ok. Good luck with both work and finding a new home! :good-luck-smiley:

I would love to organize a read-along -- anyone either into old Stephen King novels, or supernatural horror graphic novels? And, from my curious mind, I have to ask, how can I become a group moderator of a topic??

I'm planning to read IT at some point, but I'm not sure when. I'd be happy to do a read-a-long of it.

Special discussions leaders are usually members who have been around a while and who have an idea for a sub-forum (such as the monthly genre discussions forum, or this read-a-long forum). They're not really moderators though. There are only two mod groups, global mods and BSmods, the former is a closed group (one must be invited to join), and the latter can be joined, but requires approval and is full up at the moment. :tiphat:

:coffee3-smiley:

@Gravy @hsimone & all, I must update, read, etc., my first book review now, but I too like the idea of doing a read-along of one of the review books here (forgive any "newness naivety" in any of my posts or ways of doing so if it shows-lol!). I have to get through one or two reviews in the next few weeks first, but will be checking back here to see how this all goes as well as watching for both graphic novels & thriller/IT posts likewise. :lire4:

@Gravy when do you want to start "The Winter of the Witch" by Katherine Arden? I am about to finish my current book and want to plan my reading schedule.

We can start now.

(Sorry I forgot about it for awhile. I only just started reading again after a couple weeks where I just couldn't pick a book up. Thankfully it seems to be over! :text-woo: )
