I'll surely go for raisins, and oh... Dutch Mill for drinks. How about you?

I live in France and I'm going with snails and frog's legs. So stereotypical but so true. It's Christmas, everyone loves them and they are everywhere. I. Cannot. Stand. Them. And I won't eat them.

Everyone in my household loves eggnog and black licorice. I buy those things for them, but I cannot stand the taste or smell or either one.

Oh boy, my list is a mile long! When I was a child, my mom would often separate a section of food just for me so that the things I couldn't stomach weren't a part of every meal I ate. In college, my boyfriend made a list of things I dislike and got over 60 entries. Here are some of them:
  • Cheese
  • Bitter berries (blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, etc)
  • Bitter chocolate (which honestly applies to anything darker than milk chocolate or any chocolate above probably 20% when included in a recipe)
  • Nuts (excluding cashews, which are OK by themselves) (peanuts are also OK solo, but I know they're not nuts)
  • Coconut
  • Tomatoes
  • Anything pickled
  • Peppers
  • Anything spicy-hot (people typically think this means I don't want anything too hot, but any hot is too hot for me)
These things are so common in the US, and they can't always be removed from a recipe. My least favorite style of restaurant is a cafe, because they typically sell pre-made food which contains at least one of the above items.

Steak. I never liked meat very much and spent my childhood being laughed at and insulted by everyone for it. My parents didn't understand a meal without meat in one form or another, my kids think I'm a cannibalistic plant that is nourished by sunshine, water, and 'other' plants...

Sushi. I feel like everyone I talk to, brags about the latest sushi restaurant they've tried. I hate cooked fish, let alone raw.

Coke. I know thats a beverage, not food, but everyone seems to be drinking it round the clock and even the smell makes me nauseous.

Sweet potatoes! Everyone seems to love them, but I just can't stand it, it tastes like some synthetic combiation of a patotoe and butternut that should not have been made.

Hard boiled and scrambled eggs. I hate the taste of eggs on their own but even if hard boiled and scrambled eggs are covered in hot sauce I can't stand them. The only way I can eat eggs are fried(as long as they're covered in hot sauce) and with a runny yolk.
