What is the correct tense to use: 'want' or 'wanted'

I'm a little bit confused on how to put this grammar: .."accordingly as I'd wanted' or
..."accordingly as I'd want. Friends I want to know your opinion.

Depends on which meaning: "as I had wanted" or "as I would want".
