The book is really well written, especially when descriptions, pictures, and immersive experience. Sometimes I was not able to accept that she kept going, many people will give up after going through those things.

I found this part of the book the hardest to read as it was long with a lot of detailed descriptions. I kept hoping the narrative would jump back to the main story. The number of characters and names to remember also made it hard to keep track of who was who in the boat.

The description Sarah gave felt too real and I could easily feel her emotions. I felt that how she would make it to her Grandfather or what will happen if she never went back.

I really felt bad for her since she was still young to go through all of that.

The journey was not hard to follow so to say. For me the entire thing was unbelievable. She was missing just for a week, and yet the journey felt like it was on for ages.
