horror book is more scary. the mind is powerful so what we can concoct in our minds through the words in the book is way scarier than what can be portrayed in movies. moreover there is the awareness that there's real people in costumes and all.

I would say movie...while books are good for the imagination, visualization is a lot more powerful, especially with what the creators are going for in the horror genre...

Horror books are great, I love a lot of King stuff for instance, but it doesn't actually scare me in the way a movie can.

I prefer horror movies because it's too much work for me to think up the scenes happening in a horror book.

I definitely prefer the movies. I think horror is really only effective when it challenges your senses as well as your imagination.

I really haven't read any horror book? I think horror movies has the advantage because of the sound effects. Still, I would love to read a horror book some time just to experience it.

I prefer horror books over movies because the books don't have jump scares. Horror books can get under your skin without shoving something creepy right into your face.

I prefer horror books to films. Sometimes what I envision in my mind is more original than what most horror movies show on screen. It seems the sound effects and flashing imagery is the same in almost every modern horror film.

It depends on what kind of horror, because if it’s like serial killer then most likely I’m going to read the book, but if it’s paranormal I’m most likely going to watch the movie.

Horror book is more frighting than movie for me because the imagination inside my head is really weird once i start to read.

It depends. I'll read a book before watching a movie on horror.
