Guardians of the Galaxy: Movies or Comics

Post by Grace Bela »

I'm a huge fan of the Guardians of the Galaxy in any form. Their comic depictions are amazing, and I think the MCU depicted them in a great way. Groot is my favorite Guardian for sure. What do you think about the Guardians in the comics versus the movies? Are there any things you would change about the movie adaptations? While it doesn't seem possible right now, I know I'd love to see Venom join the MCU Guardians like he did in the comic books.

It's is really different in the way that we see a story in comics and in movies. It is kinda different in comics because while reading we also seek for something that comes with our imagination thus, in movies what we see is what we believe.

Peter's whole story is so much more interesting in the comics than in the movies. It feels more real due to the fact Spartoi J'son's love was real for his family and not lie to produce offspring. For the big screen, a movie that kids are watching, it was creepy.

Depending on which Guardians movie you are willing to criticize; number 1 or number 2? Because, to be completely honest, they are like two completely different worlds yet they are the same.
Now don't get me wrong, both of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies are totally awesome as far as special FX and storyline. They just are truly two separate franchises from one another. Ya feel me? I just didn't feel the whole "pick up where you left off" while watching #2. But like I said before, totally awesome so far. Keep up the good work MARVEL...!!!

I actually love both. Groot is one of my favorites. Generally, I just like all the cast in the movie especially the members of guardians of galaxy.

I certainly feel everybody can relate more with movies, it's requires less energy, cause all you have to do is to sit back and watch.
My favorite character in the guardians of the galaxy movie/comic is Star Lord. And I feel that the fans get to delve deeper into his world through the movies rather than the comics. We get to see his personalities, flaws and even his strength through live action, so for me it's the movies💯

Movies, because I don't really have access to the comics which I think would be great.
