Though I like the biblical theme, I am not sure I will enjoy reading this.

I am not a fan of fictional stories loosely based on biblical characters, especially when written as a comic book and filled with nude drawings of couples having sex. I understand that there were sinful cults that included that activity in the ages past, but I don't enjoy current works about them today. I did like the artists work on the paintings of the sea though, it was nicely done and very artistic. Thanks for the detailed review, but I'll pass on this one.

The cover really piqued my interest. While I liked the first part of the sample, I did not appreciate the full nudity and sex scenes. I had to stop reading. I would have liked to see where the story went, as the drawings we're very well done, but this one is not for me. Congrats on BOTD just the same.

A nice comic book that depicts the ill-fated love story of Samson and a woman named Adriana in a compilation of seven comic books. Great review

This is a delightful depiction of the myths and legends. I knew from other sources, aside from the Bible, those other heroes also graced Mythology, interacted in their lifetime. The events sort of intertwined, if not supplement one another. For instance, the account of the great flood is found in almost all legends. The giants of Mythology were also mentioned in the Bible as sired by the sons of God. Thanks for the review.

This would be a first for me as I'm unfamiliar with graphic comics' genre. Also, I didn't know about Adriana, Samson's first wife. But the book sounds quite interesting. Thank you for the wonderful review!

Thanks for pointing out all the pros and cons of the book. I was very intrigued by this, however, the excessive gore was an immediate put-downer for me. Thanks for the review, though.

I also haven't heard of Samson and Adriana. I only know of Delilah. I like ancient tales, and I, therefore, can't wait to find out more about this. Thank you for this wonderful review!

I would have liked to read this story but while sampling the pages, the softcore porn it contained really killed my interest in the storyline. I'll pass, thanks for sharing.

The review is a bit interesting but owing to the theme of the book, I will not be picking up the book.

Although the book is an imaginative take on an ancient tale, I don't think this is for me. Though, I suppose comic book lovers interested in the themes might want to check this one out. Thanks for the wonderful review detailing the book's pros and cons.

I hate when women are stereotyped, especially so negatively. The fact that it's because the story is from a MUCH different time and has been rewritten explains that a bit, but I also would have preferred if the women could have been fleshed out more since it was already being reimagined. Still, I do like the comic book aspect. I might be a literature nerd, but I still like a well-illustrated comic book. The fact that it's about a little-known tale that takes place during biblical times is a bit of a bonus as well. Thank you for the helpful review.

Your review confirms my suspicions that this graphic novel collection concerning a biblical hero could be, well...cool. The art style is really good, but hearing about the story containing Heracles and Bacchus, other gods and giants has completely sold me on it.

Although this one is not for me, I can see how it can still be an interesting viewpoint on Sampson's story. I'm glad it states that it is for mature audiences in the beginning, I am not really interested in reading about the sacrifices, or sexual content. My spirits very sensitive. Congratulations on BOTD.

This is a great review. Can I please know how much space/ data the book occupies? I've been downloading it for hours now, 200mbs and counting.
