The story about Samson is a classic. I would love to see how this was depicted in comic book form. Great review

Thank you for the review! It does concern me a bit that there is nudity and sex. I do enjoy graphic novels. I might give this one a chance.

Child of the Sun Complete Edition by Michael Van Cleve - Thanks for the review. Graphic novels and comic books are not my usual reading, so it was helpful to have your opinion.

Hi! Seems like you are using the AP Style in writing. Your review is splendid! Thank you for mentioning that it isn't for readers of all ages because of its mature content. I peeked through the pages and was amazed at the graphics. Judging by its cover, I had no idea it was a full blown comic book and was impressed with such good visuals. Can't wait to read it!

This is definitely a book for me. A little was known of Samson's first union and great lesson attributed to that. Nice review.

This book sounds really neat. Combining Samson and Hercules is pretty cool too.

I'm not sure yet if today's BOTD is for me or not, but I'll find out soon enough! I've downloaded my free copy (thank you!). It will be interesting to see how greek mythology and stories from the Bible weave together in this complete seven comic series. I appreciate your review - keep up the great work! :-)

I have never read about a Christian comic book, but that does sounds like an entertaining read. I like that just like a comic book there were beautifully colored pictures that complemented the writing. I also like that the author mixed the story of Samson with the legends of Roman myth to better suit the time period in which the story takes place. I knew a little about the story of Samson and Delilah, but not of his first marriage.

I confess to having never read a graphic novel and was not a comic book person, either. I am impressed with the illustrations in this book. Though it's not my genre, I can see why it pleased the reviewer and will likely thrill graphic novel lovers. The muscular men and evil women are tempting, but.... Thanks for the beautiful review.

I've always been fascinated by Sampson's story, so reading about his life before the whole Delilah debacle is right up my alley. It's especially funny that just yesterday, I got this book for free via one of the free book websites that I'm a member of, ha-ha! Thanks for the review!

Adriana? I could have argued that this is wrong if it came from a random person. I'd love to know more about Samson's love life prior to the famous Delilah.

I've never read a graphic novel so this should be interesting especially with religion mixed in. Nice review.
