Agree with you on the illustrations, as the one on the cover makes me want to learn more. I am also glad you found the love inspiring. Thanks for the wonderful review.

It's a simple story, but the incredible drawings and lovely poems make it stand out. And it is based on a true story, too.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts.

I'm not sure that I would be the best audience for this book, but it does sound unique. I love that it's based on a true story (although I hate that there were people who had to endure it). Hopefully the errors can be fixed soon, because it sounds like this book has a lot to offer a reader. Great review!

I wish it could be available free as BOTD. I'd like more people to experience it. And yes, I hope the authors could fix the errors soon.

Thanks for your two cents.

Goodness--star-crossed love, beautiful illustrations, good poetry, and a true story! What a treat. And I love your review. Your first-person introduction is really fun.

Yes, goodness all around, save for the editing. I desperately wanted to give this one the perfect rating.

Re first-person summary, I enjoyed writing that. Still waiting for my Amoto, though. LOL!

Thanks for the visit.

The story isn't totally new, but the delivery is certainly refreshing. I love this book. I know you will have a great time with it as well. Enjoy!

My only issue with the book is that it's about poems. I could never read poems. Even back in high school (or our equivalent of it), we had to dissect and analyze poems, and I found it the hardest to do.

However, your interesting intro caught my attention. I might steal it, it's really effective! Great review, as always!

This is my third first-person summary. The first time I did it, one editor gave me four in the subjective portion (reasons given: first-person summary not allowed and plagiarism suspected). The other gave me ten for the unique summary. That review averaged 91. The joy of writing it was worth the lower score. LOL!

This book may be your ticket to conquering your metrophobia (I learned just now that's how you call the fear of poetry). The poems are short, unique, and simple. No dissecting needed!

What a fantastic review! It makes me extremely excited to read this book, and I went into reading this review mostly indifferently. I'm intrigued by the mesmerizing illustrations on each page and the chance to read a unique splash of verse from each clan. It also excites me how many people you feel would enjoy this book. Thanks for the review :)

I really hope this book could be made free via BOTD so many can experience it. It's quite pricey right now.

Thanks for your kind comments!

Thanks for the review of this book that seems promising at a time and moment when love has almost been made a cheap thing. I would like to read it.
