For now, I can only admit I have the book free courtesy of the generous promotion Scott did the other week. Will come back and edit this post with feedback proper later.

Overall, I'd give it the full 4 out of 4 stars. I found it inspirational and a lot of the memoir's points rang true for me. For this reason, I didn't really have a favorite part. I did like the main message the most, however. that life is what you make of it. That your perception determines what you perceive as well as how you manage your life. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in being inspired and/or making a difference in their life.

I've just read the summary and it sounds really great! An inspirational take on one's hardships in life. I rarely read non-fiction, but this might just be one of those rare picks... I'm curious about it and I feel for everything he went through.

I love it when a biography is more like a story than real life. I find those books to be the most inspirational. Everyone has such positive things to say about this book, I'm seriously considering reading it even though it's not my usual genre.

The responses for this book are all very positive. I haven't gotten to it yet - my TBR list is always too long - but one of these days I will (I hope).

I wholeheartedly agree - the things in this book really feel larger than life. It's not a dry retelling of events, and, just as importantly to me, it's not a list of accomplishments he brags about. It really is both a good story and a good book :D

I would definitely recommend this book. I am not usually a huge fan of biographies but this particular one was extremely relatable. Having struggled with depression for many years it was a breath of fresh air and gave a spark of hope to me when I needed one. For anyone struggling with depression or self-esteem issues, this is a brilliant, inspiring read!

Definitely yes, I have read this intriguing, inspirational yet motivational reality story. Most specifically the part where he rises up again unlike any other businessperson it is very educative and reaffirms the importance of hardwork.

This book offer great advice to the young professional I think. And its comforting to read a story about someone who maintained his grounded, good and ethical nature during a vulnerable time and in a tempting environment.

Overall, I found it to be a great book with a simple but important message that's reinforced throughout the author's trials and tribulations: life will always throw you challenges that test your limits, but if you hang in there you'll find new strength and opportunities. I especially liked the author's details of his personal struggles against the overwhelming debt following that failed project and how he actually took advantage of his experience to help people with similar problems and once again rise to the top. I would definitely recommend the book to anyone.

This is such an inspirational story to me and I am sure to many others as well! Newbery shows readers how to overcome adversity in life and never give up, even in the face of multiple trials and challenges. I am impressed by his honesty and recommend this novel to everyone.

I totally loved the book and would rate it 4 out of 4. The best part of the book is Jorge's relationship with his Dad and his openness about his Burn Zones.

I find the book exciting and rate it 4/4.The best part of the book is how the author tells it all in black and white. I would recommend it to all readers who are struggling to make ends meet for there is a lesson to learn.
