Great interview! I'm so surprised to learn that the author took up fly fishing AFTER coming up with the initial idea to write the book. Also, finding a dead body in the water would probably be reason enough for me to never fish again, but I'm glad she found some inspiration from it. I enjoyed getting to know the author more through this interview and some of the motivations behind the book. Thank you!

I was also surprised to learn that! Reading the book, I felt absolutely sure she wrote it for her love of fly fishing, not the other way around. What dedication to researching your novel, wow! Her passion for the sport really shows in the pages.
