Dr. Douglas is the epitome of personal drive and ambition! An engineer, physician AND PhD? Wow! His studies of disease control are commendable. Very interesting book that I will definitely pick up. Thank you for the introduction.

I think Dr. Douglass' mother's teaching to him- "Of whom much is given, of him is much required”- is really going to stick with me. It's simple, and yet so powerful.
Thank you for this interview!

I appreciate the questions you asked, I see now that there is a set frame of the interview, some questions that you ask all your interviewees, but also some specific for the person you have in front of you.
I appreciate that the questions went beyond the subject matter of the book around which the interview was intended, to the author's other concerns, activities and accomplishments.
I liked the question about the author's favorite black leader and the answer too. I had never envisaged Mohamad Ali a leader. To be a leader by virtue of what you do, rather than what you say, why haven't I thought about that?

I agree with Dr. Douglas about having a health care system that is affordable and accessible to all, not only for the rich.

I'd like to read that book. Travelling up from downstairs is never an easy road. Your interview with the author is interesting as it reveals a successful person, wise and intelligent.

I am not too clear on the author stands, when it come to the question concerning healthcare.
