Yes, of course. Music is beneficial to me in a variety of ways. One of which keeps me productive the majority of the time. Getting up to music has been a habit for me, and it energizes my mood.

It depends on the task I am doing. When I am physically busy, it helps to listen to music, it makes me more productive

I would love to listen to a radio station or my personal playlist while working, but it would become too much of a distraction for me.

Of course music helps.

Music is a stress relief for me, as it allows me to set and verify my goals, as well as my life ambitions. Even when I am standing still, singing along gives me the ability to soar.

Definitely yes. There is a massive range of benefits music can do to us. It generally helps our health, and without it, I can’t see the world's function. Music is our way out in this chaotic world.

It depends on the type of music and how tuned-in it causes me to be. When working on mental tasks, at times it is good to have a quiet atmosphere, but that is not always possible. Having music on in the background can be a way to train your mind to "multi-task" and can useful when the atmosphere becomes quite hectic.

I'm a musician, so I would definitely say music helps :) One of my favorite observations is that certain particular tones/notes (which are particular sound wave frequencies) affect people's moods and mental health, etc. As a musician who loves harmony especially and can identify some of the power of various musical keys, I love performing music in keys that I feel will positively affect my audience in a given moment and environment. What those are will change on a given day in a given crowd, but just exposing people to B Major or a G flat chord or whatever is like medicine for people, and they only know they feel better but they don't know what I did and how intentionally I did it to improve their day.

I don't think it's really a question anymore... music has unquestionably contributed to me being calmer and happier. It has assisted me in improving my mood.

Depends on what you are doing. For some people listening to music while doing homework is helpful and helps them focus for others it's a distraction. I usually listen to all types of music when working. It is helpful concentrating on something if I am singing or just have a nice piano background playing. I am used to working in noise so if it is quiet like it is in a library music is the next best thing.
