J.cole or kendrick lamar, who is your best?

Post by Adura7 »

Well for me j.cole is the best among the both, because of his story telling abilities and also the poetic justice he brings along with his music. Kendrick is up there too, but he is more technical than the section 80 kendrick that i would have preferred over cole.. Well they both good, so give your ideas

Cole and kendrick can't be compared they are two entirely different people from different sides of the country who went through different things growing up both of them are better then most of the current rappers but they both get their own limelight

I can't really choose between the two but I listen to more of Kendrick Lamar's music. I like Kendrick's lyrics but love the depth of the story behind J.Cole's songs.

Cole has that story telling ability about life's realities. Kendrick is not bad but I choose Cole

Lamar I feel has more depth on his lyrics, he uses much more symbols and metphors, while J Cole is more sort of straight storytelling. I prefer K Dot, I feel his more of an artist.

J.Cole has a really different style of writing songs. It really inspires me.
Kendrick's music is also unique.
But it's Cole for me.

As much as I love J. Cole, I would have to go with Kendrick Lamar because I connect with him lyrically just a little more than than Cole. They are both real amazing rappers and I would never get tired of any of their music but Kendrick just has that fire to his lyrics that can make me feel 3 different emotions at the same time. Its truly empowering

I connect with them both. I would never be able to say who beats the other. They are both lyrical geniuses

My favorite is definitely Kendrick Lamar. He has such inspiring music concerning black culture and he's a really good rapper.

I prefer J. Cole, though I may be biased because I very rarely listen to Kendrick Lamar's songs except for when he's being featured on someone else's album or song. J. Cole has this poetic vibe to him, kinda more laidback and chill than what I've heard from Kendrick.

Both guys are great. When I feel like chilling, I pick K. Lamar and whenever I feel like going low, its J. Cole. They are so different and unique in their own way.
