If I remember correctly, the last poem I wrote and gave a title to, was My Parents.

The title of my last poem was When?
Although I don't always title my poems. Sometimes titles don't seem to do a piece justice, ya know?

Poem title: Castles

Miss Thing is bucking for a change
Stuff south o' the border to rearrange
Whirlwind whips in fierce like again
Scythes at the ready- let the harvest begin

All that effort blue ribbon won't last
Waves roll in not fibbin' die is cast
Night is spent most lament with only helmet
Boob tube U-tube let's fire up 'nother
round of smut

Castles in the sand
Temples not built with the hands of man
Castles in the air
High n' lofty too unattainable to me
So many just spout- why should I care?

N' the fool defiantly thumbs his nose
grim at the seven wise around him
N' the flash mob not in sync with the pose
The cat gingerly pads 'long the taperin' limb

Who calls to Him teetering on the cloud?
Up for a promotion shame globs on the proud
who's that joker? threw a wench in my wheel
They claim grace is flippant- but I keep on rollin' on from above so real

Castles in the sand
Rascals always the diabolical plan
Castles in the air
My hope's secure while they're imaginin' a cure
So many just shout- but calls stopped by walls of demon's lair.

Mine was "Fe, Amor y Paciencia". It's about staying hopeful with the world even if there seems like no reason not to. It's also one of a couple poems I wrote in Spanish, something I'm trying to do more of.

Two Plied

Sometimes hip to absorbin' liquid
Oft' times question what they did?
Peel up the corners pull apart the layers
Seal lips shout rooftops still disposable players
Two timin' hubbys jealous wives pried-
Two plied

Combin' thru the shelves fer yer
favorite brand
Keepin' some on the back burner
some always at hand
Curl up in the corner pile up in a wad
Lift up head to seek absolvin' from whichever god
Two for the show vid n' PSE're extra y'know?-
Two plied

N' security stalking ya claimin' yer doin' harmin' squeezin' the Charmin
Buzzin' 'round're paparazzi that is if you're newsworthy 'nuff for their gullets to be warmin'
No time for residuals of afterglow sensual cuz up n' out of the coop they flied-
Two plied

So whadda ya think? play the tape through if ya can
For "the man takes a drink-the drink takes a drink-the drink takes the man"
Only ride crest for so long of a life led double
Mae West said "it takes two to get one into trouble"
First rumblin' then crumblin' of makeshift covert where ya lied n' tried to hide-
Two plied.

Although it's not very creative or original, it was named, "A far fetched star".
It was based on a crush I had ;-;

The title of my last poem is "the tragedy" and it is—quite like the title suggests—a tragedy.
All those paper people living in their paper houses, burning the future to stay warm.
