What music do you listen too when you write

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Such as?...

For me it tends to be the mood i'm in, what exactly i'm writing.

Reggae, blues, and acoustic rock/soft rock do it often enough; but I could never stray from punk rock and true rock (joan jett!!!) no matter what i'm doing.

When I'm actually writing I tend to prefer classical, or music without lyrics. I find listening to music with vocals a bit distracting if I'm writing.

I prefer songs without lyrics too. But I don't mind some Coldplay, because they're usually slow songs. Or something faster during action scenes.

You must listen to Johann Strauss.

Or maybe Chopin.
