Music that is uplifting and inspirational to the spirit can be very motivational.

I believe so because sometimes music makes so much sense that a good cry leads to healing, which I've experienced recently. In a way music helps in the release of tension through its therapeutic melodies and words that can be affirming.

Music has a very big ability to influence people specially when the song has a powerful deep meaning, it helped me focus on what is good in my life.

once u have passion for music it influences you in all types of way s all depending on the type of music, for me music is a extremely positive thing, cause I feel i’m in a downs mood I just put one of my favorite songs on and eventually I’ll be fine. Now music has a negative influence as well, if ur heart broken and u listen to sad sounds it alters ur feelings and can make u feel worse...

It all depends on a song. Sometimes even the song that is supposed to be happy and upbeat can make me be down in the dumps. The meaning behind the song is very important.

When I'm happy, I listen to fast paced
and upbeat music. When I'm sad, I listen to slower paced music and sad music. When I'm feeling romantic, I will listen to
Love songs, more softer ballads.

Music is very influential to my mood. I listen to various genre and a wide array of artists.

Generally, whatever music I'm listening to is a reflection of my mood at that particular point in time. It's comforting hearing exactly what I'm feeling being sung by someone I know next to nothing about, like I'm connecting with something or someone through a shared experience. It doesn't matter if I'm happy or sad, there's always a song for that moment.
