I wish I could! I would love to, I've always been jealous of the people who get to sing in a choir especially in Church. I don't have the talent to sing. I make up for it by playing the piano so that one day, I could play music in the choir.

I sing in our community church cantata at Easter and Christmas. The Chistmas performances are me favorite. So beautiful.

I was in a choir, off and on, from the first grade all the way through college. I loved every second of it. There is something truly mystical about being in such a group. The connection that is made with your fellow singers is beyond comparison. The thrill of being on stage and giving your audience the gift of music with your collective voice is exhilarating!

As far as your point about people who sing and are in choir being more emphatic, I agree completely! So many of my fellow singers were the most emphatic and expressive people I have known. I don't know what it is, maybe they are comfortable with expressing themselves. I'm not entirely sure, but it is definitely intriguing. I've missed it so much.

I sing in my choir for 4 months and I sing in altos. Our repertoire contains mainly sacral songs in Latin but not only. We sing for example Vivaldi's 'Gloria'. The part 'Et In Terra Pax' is really beautiful.
I think that there's something mystical in singing in a harmony... It's really amazing to spend a time with people who love music too. I noticed that people who love music and perform it are more emphatic. Have you noticed it too? Do you sing in a choir or have you ever sung there?
Was once in a choir group it was great!

Yes! Before I got married, I was a chorister in my church; an alto singer. My choir sings classical songs. I miss singing in the choir; the harmony is everything!

I did since I was young when my mum was our choir mistress. I still do even now, and I love it. It is fulfilling for me.

i sang in choir through out my four years in high school. I sang in the alto section all four years. we sang songs from movies for our movie concerts and Christmas songs for our winter concerts. While being in choir i did notice how much more emphatic my peers were when it came to singing or running through our songs.
