Please don't be offended if you're fans of him as a singer, but I think most other versions of Halleluja are better than Leonard Cohen's!

Pantera's cover of Sabbath's Planet Caravan is pretty awesome.

Shinedown (well, a couple of members) also made a cover album called Smith & Myers that is wonderfully done. Two of my favorites are Otis Redding's Sittin' On the Dock of the Bay and Kenny Wayne Shepherd's Blue on Black.

Among My Souvenirs Cover Connie Francis from 1958 original or one one of many originals Roger Wolfe Kahn Orchestra from around 1926 or so. Another earlier version was by The Virginians from earlier than 1925 before electrical recordings.

I was recently introduced to the acapella group Twisted Measure. I am addicted to most of their covers but especially this one: Sia's Chandelier

EXCELLENT !!! Thank you for posting this.

Nice to know (based upon your response to my last post) that you also like Pentatonix.

Yes! I am a fan of many acapella groups, but Pentatonix has been a long-time favorite because they are just so incredible! And when I heard this cover of Chandelier, I just knew I had to share it to all the other acapella fans on here :D

I listened to Claudia Boleyn's cover of Hozier's Take Me To Church again recently, and it is definitely one of my favourite covers!

I also love all of the Vitamin String Quartet covers that I've heard! I used to listen them a lot when studying for my A levels and when writing.

The first that comes to mind is "Dancing in the Moonlight" by Alt-J.
I don't know who sang the original, so if anybody else know, please tell me :)

I like Naya Rivera's cover of "Love You Like a Love Song," originally sung by Selena Gomez.
