Do you like Chinese Music?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Yes, thanks to the Chinese series I watch via TV. These usually have good instrumentation and lyrics because of the subtitles, but in regard to the variety Chinese music has to offer, I am on that road of discovery.

Chinese music?
Sounds really different from your regular music. But I'd say it's awesome. Maybe because i don't understand nor speak China that's I sort of feel China musics are different. But China's culture is dope.

I like traditional Chinese music. I listen to the Guqin almost every day. It's very emotional music but it calms you.

That's so cool!
Xenophile I'm sorry.
I like the traditional instrumentals they have on YouTube, that's all the exposure I've had. But I listen to those just to relax sometimes.
Any suggestions for what's popping over there RN?
I'm always curious about music

I like some Chinese songs, though it's been a while since I listen to them.

I've watched many chinese movies and I can say that there are some that I really like, however, I can't seem to like the rap genre.

Yeah, but traditional Chinese songs. The tunes are amazing even though I don't understand the language.

I've listened to one or two songs! My family is half Chinese and I go to a Chinese school so I've heard plenty of Chinese songs!
