I have a few different playlists depending on my mood. One for running, one for when I'm feeling romantic, one for bedtime, and one for homework. My running playlist is mostly punk rock with some upbeat country songs, romantic is mostly country with some punk ballads, bed is pretty much everything except for pop, and homework is all of my foreign music (mostly Edith Piaf) and lots of movie scores from The Avengers, Batman, How To Train Your Dragon, etc.

For us old farts, play lists and MP3 players and IPods are truly amazing! I remember having a Walkman as a teen, it played cassettes and munched them after several uses. Then there was the player for CD's, if you breathed the wrong way it skipped.
Now we have these little gizmos that seemingly suck music out of the computer, and the capacity...I don't think I know 2000 songs or whatever these things are capable of. Then the fun part, composing a bunch of tunes to get ya going. I'm going to be listen specifically when exercising so I picked energizing...

Select trendy songs, hip-hop, stuff from OSTs, WWE theme songs, Jazz and Chillhop. It's a whole bunch of different moods but the important thing is that I can enjoy them and it doesn't feel like a chore to pop up Spotify and play my stuff. It's just good fun.
