From Sara Bareille's Brave:

Nothing's gonna hurt you the way that words do
When they settle 'neath your skin
Kept on the inside and no sunlight
Sometimes a shadow wins

It will age you and turn your hair grey
They say love is blind
But search till you find
A face you can stand every day."

I love so many lines from Bright Eyes songs. “The world requires no audience” is my favorite. I also love “your eyes must do some raining if you’re ever gonna grow”. Even though Bright Eyes songs are usually pretty sad, they always make me feel better.
Circling Turtle wrote: 13 Jun 2015, 04:18 Pretty much every line from every Bright Eyes song... I love this particular line from their song I Believe in Symmetry:

"And if it seems like an accident
A collage of senselessness
You weren't looking hard enough..."

But there are so many that resonate with me! Really depends on my mood.

"I pick my poison and it's you. Nothing can kill me like you do." Poison - Rita Ora or "We don't stand a chance, it's sad but it's true." Too Good At Goodbyes- Sam Smith. Either or both. So much more though.
And in the end, we were all just humans... Drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.

I don't really have a favorite, but pride myself on being able to drop in a lyric to almost any conversation. And I give myself extra credit if it is a Disney lyric.

Who Will Know by Shinji Higuchi from Shin Gojira

If I die in this world
Who will know something of me
I am lost no one knows
Theres no trace of my yearning

Lucky By Jason Mraz and Colbie Calliat
Lucky I am in love with my best friend.
This song reminds me of the love that my boyfriend and I have for each other.
