I have LOTS of favourites when it comes to gospel music. My mood also determines my favourite at any given time. One of my favourites is Still Everything by Benita Jones.

I Come to The Garden Alone. This has to be the most spiritual gospel song ever. From the first time I heard this song and felt it's emotional and spiritual grip on my very being this one has been an all-time favourite. The other one in this category and running a tie with the first has to be A Thousand Angels Cried. :flags-canada: :text-imnewhere: :-D :-D

Onward, Christian Soldiers.

My Grandma's favorite was "The Old Rugged Cross", so that also has a special place in my heart.

Balm of Gilead by Kent Henry

Chorus
You are the balm of Gilead
You are the rose of Sharon
You are my peace in the midst of the storm
You are the air I breathe
Oh Lord you are
You are the air I breathe
Oh Lord you are
And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness.

My absolute favorite is Almost Home by MercyMe. It talks about how we're almost home (in heaven) and to not give up. It's really super encouraging.

No one can perform “I Can Only Imagine” like MercyMe. It is one of my favorites.

I have so many...
If you are walking...
And the darkness all-round...
Do not fear...
He will guide you....
He will lead you safe and sound...
For He has promised...
Not to leave you or forsake you. ..
