Be-Bop-A-Lula by Gene Vincent. Good classic rock.

I heard a nice little song today, Where the Wild, Wild, Flowers Grow by the Roger Wolfe Kahn Orchestra. Its an old Appalachian folk song that was done in a big band style. Sounded really good.

I just heard Gallows Hill by Billy Lee Riley. Most of his stuff isnt that great, he was one of the many terrible Elvis imitators from that era, but Gallows Hill was an exception, it was more his style. A slow, mournful song about a guy who is going to the gallows. Similar to Charley Pride's Green Grass of Home.

One I heard today was a cute song, Pink Elephants. I think it was by George Olson Orch. but not sure. About a guy who has a little too much to drink the night before. Pink elephants in the window, pink elephants on the wall, pink elephants in the bedroom, pink elephants in the hall and so on. Its still going through my head.

Oh my. That man exudes sexyness! And compare that to Miley Cyrus' " sexy " performance at the VMAs. hah!
