Some of the songs I listened to in foreign language are those in series and soaps. In my opinion, they are good songs. This is because the lyrics and instrumentation is well toned together and because of that fact I take off time and download them. This is because they sound very interesting.

I don't just pay attention to the words of whatever song I'm listening to, though the lyrics do sometimes have an impact. There are other contributing factors though, like the melody, the instrumental, the singer's voice and tone and generally how the song makes you feel. I love Japanese anime theme songs though more than half the time I have no idea what they're saying.

It's not just words that make music.. sometimes a song of which words you don't understand can connect deeper to your soul than a song of your mother tongue. It's the emotions that that make you feel a music not the lyrics.🙂

I like to listen some music in French because I'm studying the language. This one is cute:
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

Truth be told I care more about a song's rythm than the language itself, so I do enjoy listening to foreign songs too.

I often listen to songs of other languages which I can't understand, especially while reading. I love them.

I can't just say that in general, it depends on the song.

I have had a chance to listen to some songs and I am yet to discover their titles because they really sounded interesting. I think when a song is interesting, it will be interesting no matter the language.

I've been listening to music in other languages since I was like... eleven years old, which was a long time ago. Funny enough this has helped me pick up some ability to understand a few words here and there in what I listen to, but not enough to be even remotely close to conversational. Point is, I don't think it matters what language music is in as long as I think it sounds good. Some of my favorite artists come from different places around the world.

My friends love korean pop songs, but I’ve never became a fan of them. So far, I’ve never liked a song that I didn’t understand the lyrics.

I guess it’s just not for everyone 😫

I listen to lot of songs in languages I don't understand. I tend to love them a lot more before I discover their meaning and some I have come to love a lot more after discovering their meaning.. but either way, it's beautiful how songs can touch one's heart even when you don't understand the words, a wonderful mystery.

I love listening to songs in other languages, they are often very beautiful and its interesting to think about what they mean based on the tune. Although, I will say, the more I like the song the more I want to be able to understand it, so it can be a tiny bit frustrating ;-)

I listen to French songs and despite not understanding a word they say, I still enjoy the music.

Most music I listen to is in a different language. You know it's good when you can feel the emotion and what they want to transmit without understanding a word. Jpop, Kpop, Cpop and French occasionally.
Personally I see it a bit racist if you claim to hate music in other languages, like kpop, just because you don't understand what they say, and then go and listen to despacito.
But each to their own!
