This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Some of the songs I listened to in foreign language are those in series and soaps. In my opinion, they are good songs. This is because the lyrics and instrumentation is well toned together and because of that fact I take off time and download them. This is because they sound very interesting.

I don't just pay attention to the words of whatever song I'm listening to, though the lyrics do sometimes have an impact. There are other contributing factors though, like the melody, the instrumental, the singer's voice and tone and generally how the song makes you feel. I love Japanese anime theme songs though more than half the time I have no idea what they're saying.

It's not just words that make music.. sometimes a song of which words you don't understand can connect deeper to your soul than a song of your mother tongue. It's the emotions that that make you feel a music not the lyrics.🙂

I like to listen some music in French because I'm studying the language. This one is cute:
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

Emily Dickinson
