I used to sing in school and provincial choirs when I was a bit younger. It has a phenomenal sense of harmony when you perform the right song. I still sing our old songs with some of my choir friends whenever we get the chance. Always gives me goosebumps.

I have never sung in a choir. I am not too good at singing. I would hate to be asked to do a solo!

I sing in my choir for 4 months and I sing in altos. Our repertoire contains mainly sacral songs in Latin but not only. We sing for example Vivaldi's 'Gloria'. The part 'Et In Terra Pax' is really beautiful.
I think that there's something mystical in singing in a harmony... It's really amazing to spend a time with people who love music too. I noticed that people who love music and perform it are more emphatic. Have you noticed it too? Do you sing in a choir or have you ever sung there?
Omg this takes me back I was in the choir church and school until about the age of 11 or 12 (I'm 27 now)

I used to. I would recommend it if you like singing but are too shy to sing on you own.

I once did, but it didn't go on for a while. But I still wish to join one, just to exercise my vocal pipes😄

Back in middle school I did but nowadays I sit behind the choir just to recall those days and praise the Lord.

Being reserved and mostly introverted, I don't thing I can really sing in a choir. I like activities where I only need to cooperate with myself.

In my early teenage life, I used to be a part of a local choir. I'm no longer a member.

Yes, I am a youth volunteer in our church. Although I am not very good at singing, I’m happy that I sing to the crowd with God’s guidance. Being a chorale is indeed an adventure.

I signed up for a choir once. However, I was placed in the altos category when I was a very strong high pitched soprano. The teacher who was teaching the class made it very very clear that he favored sopranos and let them sing everything they wanted, and giving them all the attention and giving the altos dust. Since then, I have only sang solo, and I would like to keep it that way. I also just generally prefer hearing individual distinct voices instead of a merged group.

I used to sing in a choir but stopped because I realised I am more attuned to being a lead singer than part of a back up. The choir I sang in had a lots of lead singers and I was down the pecking order.
I am working on forming my own choir though

I have not sung in a choir since I was a kid! I love to sing in the privacy of my shower or in my car, but never in front of people. I'm not terrible, I sound better than the cats in heat in the alleyway at night, but I know I'm no Adele either.
I was invited to join a choir years ago, but I just could not find the courage to do it. I think it would be a lot of fun, I just can't bring myself to sing in front of others.

Yes, I sing in a choir and I am at a bass type of choir sanger. Though sometimes, I also belong to tenor singer since my voice is somehow high depending on the song. I am not good much in singing but somehow, I know how to sing. In a choir, your voice is not only being heard, but all of your voices will be combined and be mixed with a very beautiful tone together.
