I personally dont understand the purpose of choosing between the both of them. Isn't Adele more of a soul artist whilst Bruno Mars falls more in pop. Anyways, Adele writes better grounded songs. Bruno knows how to make catchy songs. I go with Adele.

They are both my favorite singers, but if I had to choose I'd prefer Adele. For me, although Bruno Mars also has great skills in singing melodious song lyrics, Adele often represents my feelings in her songs.
